Going on a plane!

Ater visiting my rhematologist Tues and having bloodwork again, my iron is low.

Not sure if this is from the Imuran. This morning I woke ou at 4:45 am, with

severe pain from a nodule in the arch of each foot. My left leg looks sunburned

and I continue to break out in nodules. I continue to take 5 mg prednisone

everyday.She may raise the Imuran to 150 mg.I have on $70 support socks. I

normally wear a size 8 shoe and tried to find something comfortable to wear

other than crocs and flipflops. I found a cute pair of Sketcher sandals with a

velcro strap to adjust for swelling..Size 10! I am flying to Maine from Florida

next week. Has anyone with EN had problems with their feet and legs after

flying? Thanks..Sue

Hi ,

I am also on Imuran and prednisone. I take 125mg of Imuran and 4mg of

prednisone each day. My iron is low too. My rheumatologist said the

inflamation in my body combined with the Imuran leads to low iron counts. I

have " Anemia of Chronic Disease " . I don't have problems when I fly. Good Luck

on your trip!
