Guest guest
Hello to all the new members, I know I am late with my welcome, glad you are here, sorry you had to find us this way. Everyone here is wonderful, many of you already know that, keep posting when you can, ask questions, vent and cry. We are all very good listener's. Short note about myself, my name is R., 43 yrs old, had Still's for almost 2 years. Mine started in my organs first, with my stomach and went downhill from there, lost my stomach, about 6 feet of my small bowel, spleen, gallbladder and appendix. Now it has attacked my joints and muscle, I have had an interesting last couple of years. I have Lymphoma also and now just had surgery again for a new tumor that was malignant, Fibrous Histiocytoma. Fortunately I have incredible drive and determination, not to let my illness get me down, I figure there is always someone worse off than me. After years of treating patients in my practice, I have seen many in far worse shape. I have bad days just like everyone else, but try to focus on the good days and hope they start coming more often. Take care, R.
Guest guest
Thanks Liz, I have enlisted family and friends to kick me in the pants when my attitude gets rotten. I am adding you to that list, I value your friendship, take care. ________________________________ To: Stillsdisease Sent: Thursday, May 14, 2009 7:09:51 AM Subject: Re: New members Read your posts ,. Guest guest
Dear Wow you certainly do have some medical problems to cope with I don't know where you get your strength from. I just wanted to say that I am sorry that a new tumour has appeared and hope that when the Doctors have decided what treatment they are going to give you that it is 100% successful. Take care Joan U.K.
