Guest guest
Jim, go get a couple of bottles of Pro-Tan and have someone help you spray it on " unreachable " places. That's what hubby and I use to " color " before we do competitions. Do it the day before you want to take the pix, tho, so it can darken some overnight. Z. Thanks and one More Question I really appreciate all of the feedback. I especially liked the formulaic discussion and the 130% thing on the mens health magazine cover. Just interested. I have figured that some people have perfect proportions. I do like the mathematical approach to that. They are the ones that can go to store and have no problem finding clothes. I on the one hand am the naturally tall drink of water that is trying to at least put on muscle to give it shape. I also have a deformed rib cage from birth on my left side, not sure why, but it is almost like it got smushed in vitro! With all that being said, with my gangly arms and legs and smushed rib cage...I realize that the images I see in ads are air brushed and etc., The trick is to make what the good Lord gave you the best to reflect his and your own goodness. Speaking of which, in terms of tanning and looking good. I am the epitome of pale and white. I am not sure if I would want to do the tanning bed thing. Does anyone have any suggestioins about tanning beds or other methods to get a tan for the final pictures? Jim --------------------------------- Looking for a deal? Guest guest
To all thanks for the tanning advice. I will probably not do the tanning bed or outside tanning as I am fair skinned Irish background, and Melanoma occurs in my family a lot. A tan does look great when natural but with the lack of melatonin in my skin not a good idea. I will look up pro tan. My workouts are still going good. I mentioned earlier that I broke my big toe, however, I have worked around it. I have to wear this funky shoe and I limp so It looks like should be dragging an ax behind me!! (Kidding). I worked around the inability to run by doing the eliptical machine as you do not have to raise your feet. I did legs last night, but was careful and even did squats but with a lower weight. I am pleased that I am keeping the momentum despite the busted toe. THe hardest thing was taking a shower at the gym after my workout this AM without getting the soft cast on my foot wet!! So I am doing great. I hope everyone has a good weekend and do keep trying despite set backs! Guest guest
I'm sure they are airbrushed to a certain extent and most of us can't have abs like those in the pictures. However, I've met people in person with those kind of abs. There's a couple guys that just look amazing in a group that I run with. Then there are others that are really great athletes, but abs are covered with fat. The tanning foams along with what little sun I get do a really good job for me. Yes, work to make what you've got the very best. Andy > > I really appreciate all of the feedback. I especially liked the formulaic discussion and the 130% thing on the mens health magazine cover.
