Guest guest
I have been resisting accepting credit card payments for consultations for some time now and only accepted cash or cheques. Recently I find many patients expect to be able to pay by card since cheques are bing phased out. I just had a quick look on line Barklaycard charge £20 p.m. On top of this is the 3% charge per transaction. Does anyone else working on their own provide this facility? It does seem awfully expensive for us to have to fork out. Is there a cheap way? I know online payments can be made using paypal but it's a different situation in the consulting room.
