Guest guest
Rest? Huh? I have an amazing husband. (who is a farmer who happens to be " off " this time of year to help me a lot). We've decided to forget our problems for a couple days, and we are heading down the the Colp's (Jeanie, Toby & MacKenzie's - they are on the list here and very good friends). We are looking forward to it so that'll be a nice break. Guest guest
Bonnie, s Syndrome is something that happens when you have an allergic reaction to a medication. It can mask as Kawasaki Disease with the exception that the fever does not persist. But you get the rash that looks like you've been burned in a fire, hands and feet peel, swollen glands.....just a bunch of weird things happen. was in and out of the ER seeing an infectioud disease specialist for 3 weeks until that was there final conclusion.if it had been Kawasaki(which is what they were afraid of) it causes heart damage. Guest guest
: Been there with the Kawasaki Disease scare. And it IS a major scare! Last year in March we went through that with . She had the peeling, rash, etc., but it did not follow any other kind of illness - just BOOM!, she's sick. They were telling me could have a stroke, or even an aneurism of the heart's vessels if not treated. They never came up with a real diagnosis for her otherwise. They think it was Roseola, but the rash wasn't quite right. Thank goodness neither of our kids really had that going on. 's is scary too, though. Friends of ours had a son with that due to an antibiotic for an ear infection. He ended up on steroids for two months. Hope doesn't need that. Still better than Kawasaki! Guest guest
- I'm glad you caught that fire before it got worse. How scary! House fire is one of my irrational (well, maybe it is rational after all) fears that keeps me up at night thinking about what I would do if... Did you have smoke damage and stuff?
