Guest guest
I was reading that it is possible to become Vitamine D toxic. Re: Vitamin D Question for ya all! Does Vitamin D go thru your system (the excess that is) or is it all absorbed??? I have been doing some research on vitamins & of course have an MS moment here & can't remember about vitamin D. Thanks! Be well my friends! Rj
Guest guest
Hi, I used to have to drive all the way to the city to get Vitamin D vials to take. I didn't have enough vitamin D in my body and that's why I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia many years ago. I might have already posted about this. It made my blood supply show up with a great deficiency. The Doctor who diagnosed and also prescribed the Vitamin D vials also had fibromyalgia. So he was very understanding and also prescribed painkillers as well. It's been a great help. Now it's even easier as I can get the Vitamin D capsules from the local pharmacy instead of going to the city. I also take codliver oil occasionally. > Hi, I take cod liver oil. I take 2 teaspoons a day. http://www.iherb.com/Norwegian-Cod-Liver-Oil-Lemon-Flavor-16-8-fl-oz-500-ml/2804\ ?at=0 That way you get the natural A, D, and omega 3. All of these work together, so you get the greatest benefit. It is really good to put on the face for your complexion. Guest guest
, Wow, are you sure its 100,000 IU... that is so much. And is that in like pill form? I think the highest ive ever even seen in pill form is 2000 IU. I also think its really strange how all of us fibro patients are deficient in Vitamin D. Makes one wonder more about the Chem Trails and if the government really is trying to block our Sunlight from us. lol I heard that a few times on you tube. Its hard to say these days what the truth and what isnt. I am very interested to knowing if this will make a big difference in how you feel over the next couple of weeks. Thank you for this information, Carol Ann To: fibromyalgiacured From: relogirl125@... Date: Fri, 23 Oct 2009 23:55:53 +0000 Subject: Re: Vitamin D Hi Carol Ann - I just found out last week that I am Vitamin Deficient and started taking Prescription Vitamin D - 100,000 IU 2X per Week. The odd thing is I was taking a vitamin D supplement of 1,000 IU daily and I did have a diet high in Vitamin D so it was kind of puzzling to me that this would come back deficient but it explained a lot of other symptoms I was having with the extreme sleepiness beyond what I felt with my FM. It has only been one week for me and I have not noticed a difference after being pumped with 100,000 extra IU of Vitamin D but my doctor said it would take about a month and then they would retest me. I battle with insomnia but once I fall asleep, I don't seem to want to wake up, like once I fell asleep, which was not until 3 AM this morning, I slept until 5:30 PM this evening straight through. I have heard this is becoming more common in Fibro and patients who have MS. Hope that helps! > > > > Subject: Vitamin D > To: fibromyalgiacured > Date: Thursday, October 22, 2009, 8:46 AM > > > > > > > > > > Hello Everyone, > > I was wondering about this.
