Guest guest Posted March 1, 2004 Report Share Posted March 1, 2004 Welcome to all the newcomers. My name is and I live in NC. I'm 43 and have been married for 25 years and have 3 kids (24,20 and 16). I work full time with my home day care where I have 5 children ranging in age from 5 months to almost 3 years (May). It's exhausting, but rewarding work. I was dx in March 2000 with RRMS. My MS has stabilized as of Dec. 2003, but my cognitive abilities have worsened, as has the pain and weakness in my legs. My neuro doesn't think it will get any worse, but it probably won't get any better, either. I've been on Avonex since May 2000. I don't read everyday because I've been so busy with work and some extra stuff the past couple of months. I was hoping, the last time I "popped" in that I would be able to be here more often, but it hasn't worked out so far. I hope things will calm down over the next month or so and I can get back on track. That said, I get overwhelmed when I have too many messages to read and I also forget the first ones by the time I get to the end! Sometimes I will respond, but often I just "lurk."
