In this case it is a sudden awakening during the night, with a buzzing sensation emanating from the diaphragm area, and a feeling that the heart is racing, though she is not sure that it actually is. After this she is not able to get back to sleep properly and if she does, the awakening is similar. Awakening is usually about 3 - 4 hours after falling asleep. GP diagnosed chronic fatigue. I think it is liver and adrenal disfunction, but not sure of the mechanism. I would be interested to have any thoughts on this.
