Guest guest
I read that fresh pineapple has an enzyme that reduces inflammation. It stated that you need to eat a half a pineapple a day. I have had erythema nodosum for over 30 years and wanted to find an alternative to steroid shots. Amazingly enough, eating the pineapple seemed to work. I only have a couple of bumps left. You have to use fresh pineapple, not canned or frozen, as processing the pineapple depletes the enzyme. I believe there is also a nutritional supplement that contains this enzyme. Has anyone else tried this? I think the next time I start feeling an episode coming on, I am going to get a pineapple to see if it will keep it away!
