Guest guest
hi lindathanks for your concern!i'm not doing anything aggressive, i can barely handle any time at all with the coil and any protocol is by the drop not the gulp. i've been sick a long time and can tolerate less and less each year. so that is why i'm pursuing genetic issues now, it all makes good sense. msm is on the list of methyl donors and i have a particular sensitivity to them and as i understand it have to choose which ones i do with care. i used to do msm, had a big tub of it, now i can see the whole protocol i was doing wasn't finely turned enough.yes, i am very toxic and not making progress. lots of metals on top of lyme.i took less of the thyroid med today and tomorrow i might not take it at all, thanks for the hint there!xoxoxsusie Susie, sorry you had to make the dreaded ER trip. My husband is always asking me what he should tell the docs if I end up in the ER ;-) I don't have a good answer. Are you allowing plenty of time for detoxing? Have you been treating aggressively? As far as the sulfurs go, I've recommended MSM to several friends. Many of them couldn't even tolerate an 1/8th of a teaspoon without getting a headache. So they reduced it to a pinch, and built up with plenty of water. Now they are happy and feeling much better. I don't think MSM would directly help your heart, but it's something to reconsider down the road. Although, would there be a genetic reason for non-tolerance? It makes me wonder how toxic you are? You're not tolerating the methyl groups, increased heart palps. Hmmmmm. Maybe you got too aggressive at killing or detoxing?Or your new compounded thyroid is too much. A few days off it would let you know. I can tell the difference when I'm getting too much thyroid and other causes of heart palps. Hang in there!Lots of hugs,

Guest guest
Yeah, skipping a few days is no big deal (at least to me). Docs are so freaky about thyroid meds., 'don't skip a dose' 'take it at the exact same time' blah, blah, blah. I constantly play around with mine, especially having Lyme. I would think even more with Hashimoto's - the exact same dose day-in=day-out wouldn't work. Those dang genetic issues! Insurance doesn't cover those tests, right? The doc at the AMEN Clinic said, if you are missing C.O.M.T., then SAMe would donate a methyl and it would be helpful. He said the genetic test would run $500 (each). We decided to just give SAMe a try, so far it's been amazingly helpful for me. I started the kids just three days ago on a lower doses, we'll see. I'm in a quandary why you can tolerate less and less. What about that genetic test that Shoemaker recommends to see if you can properly detox? And the KPU test?Let's hope and pray that it is something real simple like thyroid. I agree with Marsha, that switching could make a big difference. Some pharmacies don't go through much Armour, so you may have had some older product - which would be less potent. Then if you purchased a three month supply (and didn't freeze it) it would be loosing potency. Then if you switched to compounded, the ratios were different of T3 and T4, and they used really fresh product - bamm. You'd have too much thyroid. Maybe the compounder made a mistake and made it too strong. A week and a half ago when I had that unbelievable herx from 2110 - I had also increased my thyroid meds that moring. BAD timing for me. Now, I'll only increase them on days I'm not expecting much of a herx. If you skipped your meds today and tomorrow, you should have your answer regarding thyroid.Blessings, hi lindathanks for your concern!i'm not doing anything aggressive, i can barely handle any time at all with the coil and any protocol is by the drop not the gulp. i've been sick a long time and can tolerate less and less each year. so that is why i'm pursuing genetic issues now, it all makes good sense. msm is on the list of methyl donors and i have a particular sensitivity to them and as i understand it have to choose which ones i do with care. i used to do msm, had a big tub of it, now i can see the whole protocol i was doing wasn't finely turned enough. yes, i am very toxic and not making progress. lots of metals on top of lyme.i took less of the thyroid med today and tomorrow i might not take it at all, thanks for the hint there! xoxoxsusie Susie, sorry you had to make the dreaded ER trip. Guest guest
hi linda, yes, i've had the kpu test, 11. i do think i can handle less and less because my detox pathways aren't open. i did have the detoxigenomic test and right aaway i learned something really important, that i am comt++ and it was a revelation, so much of the stuff i take, tumeric, coq10, acetyl l carnitine, dmg, msm in the past, melatonin sometimes, etc.....are all hard on my system! so i am beginning to sort this out. hoping my local doctor will do the methylation panel, it has been a struggle to get the attention of any doctor around here but i think i've got it straight now.i am really hopeful this is the key.xoxoxsusie Yeah, skipping a few days is no big deal (at least to me). Guest guest
Dr. Bruce West has a protocol using Standard Process products for heart problems. It is on his web site, I think. If not, I think you can contact Standard Process. Locally, there was a pharmacist who also had a PhD in nutrition and an ND who did free consults because his pharmacy carried the Standard Process line. He is the one who helped me, but he is gone now. My heart was out of control a lot of the time, and I found it terrifying. It would wake me up dozens of times in the night, and it loved to do what I called the fish dying on the river bank dance. I began the West protocol, and my heart is 95% normal now. It took about a month for the effects to kick in. Knock on wood. Josie
Guest guest
yes, that's my thinking this morning. i did tons of antiblarials and abx and herbs for it years ago but it could be creeping back. also thinking that my cortisol is whacky, judging the times it is the worse. xos when they got o2 levels and the ekg going they realized it wasn't an emergency and then began the next few hours of very uncomfortable lying around. i looked as awful leaving as i did coming. the doctor stared at me a lot, trying to think of something that might be causing the palps and pain and shortness of breath, etc. i kept saying lyme disease. you guys all know this story. susie **********Susie- We spent 8yrs doing exactly what you described with my husband and ERs until I figured out what was going on.... babesia. Just a suggestion.... the shoe fits. blessings-Dr. Sue Massie
Guest guest
I saw my doc last night and he gave me a B12 shot. I am way calmer and no heart palps.Yahhhhh! Have had them for yrs but did not notice what it did for palps before. I think there is folic acid in it also. Guest guest
I get the heart palps too. There are many things that can cause this. Low magnesium and all of us Lymies are low in Magnesium. Hypothyroidism can also cause heart palps. Mercury fillings in the heart meridian can cause heart palps and also food allergies are a big culprit. My palps go away when I clear my allergies. > > > > > when they got o2 levels and the ekg going they realized > > it wasn't an emergency and then began the next few hours of very > > uncomfortable lying around. i looked as awful leaving as i did > > coming. the doctor stared at me a lot, trying to think of something > > that might be causing the palps and pain and shortness of breath, > > etc. i kept saying lyme disease. you guys all know this story. > > susie > > ********** > > Susie- > > We spent 8yrs doing exactly what you described with my husband and > > ERs until I figured out what was going on.... babesia.
