I was down 5.2 pounds and met my 10% goal, finally. I am so excited. I feel really inspired right now. I went right back to Tae-Bo yesterday because I am feeling better. Usually, an illness sets me back weeks. Not this time :)I will pray for your little guy too, Joan. I know how hard it is to let go, even a little bit. Thanks Delana but my situation is pretty, well, depressing. I have no family or friends near by that can helpout in the car department. My dad and uncle are planning to take a trip to see if they can figure out the problem, but I'm putting very little faith into that since a bunch of mechanics couldn't figure it out. And even if they do figure it out, I highly doubt they will be able to fix it. Its an old car.

I can't think of any blessings. I guess that I'm alive and I have a roof over my head for the time being. My boyfriend is paying for everything for me even my credit card bills until I can find a job. And of course now without a car finding a job will be almost impossible. Its really hard to see any good right now. He says we won't be able to renew our lease for our apartment unless I find work and without a car, well you get the picture. So at 28 years old I'm looking at moving home in a few months and leaving behind my boyfriend of 9 years. He can afford to put the roof over my head but can't afford to pay for that plus all my bills plus his own. Not to mention my student loan bills will be coming due very soon.

I wish I could find a blessing in being home, but I've been stuck at home for the last 6 months. Anyway, I don't want to go on and on about my sob story. We all have one, it just sucks that I feel like mine is never ending. But thx for the post, I'll keep looking for the blessing(s) there has to be one there, or at least around the next corner!

I don't know what every body else thinks, but as far as I am concerned, you are not behind. We all have the tendency when we get stressed that the first thing we give up is our exercise, when that is probably the most important thing we need to help shore us up for the stress. If it weren't for doing tae bo regularly, I do not know how I would have gotten through the stress I have had the past 9 months or so. So do not despair, step in where you are, even if it means only 5 minutes today, and just carry on a few extra days after the official challenge ends.

It is a bummer to be without a car. Are there any blessings you can find in the situation? More time at home, the incentive to walk to and from the corner store that you used to drive to, etc. I know where I live, there is no public transportation, and that being carless is a huge hinderance. I have an old van that only gets used for long trips that I just loaned to a friend who is in your situation. Got any friends with an extra vehicle? I really hope that things look up for you soon. Delana.

I'm out of the challenge :( I don't want to be but I missed too many days. When your car breaks down a person gets stressed having to deal with mechanics and whatnot. And today I found out I will be carless for much longer. The mechanic couldn't really find out what was wrong with and said "if you were looking for an excuse to get a new car, this is it" and mechanics usually want to take your money, so when they tell you that you know your in trouble. Of course when i'm determined to make my exercise routine work out, something's gotta get in the way.

PS. ARGH! What am I going to do without a car!!!!!carolyn wrote:

I skipped my usual Taebo workout in favor of errands before my martial arts/fitness class. Then the instructor was late (had to pick up his dog from the pound) and rather cranky so the class was shorter than usual. I didn't feel like it was as tough as the other two days so when I got home I did Taebo flex too.As Deb has said: "Fitness is a journey and it begins with the first step.""This isn't about weight loss, it's about enlightenment" -
