I did it last year and found it to be exactly what I needed. best wishes, Guy Waddell LOCAL HERBALISM Localising herbalism and herbalists A short course for practising herbalists with Hedley and Non Shaw A three day gathering exploring the small intimate traditions which help root us to the earth and intuitively inform our practice. The study of space, place and time. PRACTICAL HERBALISM WITH A SENSE OF PLACE AND RESPONSIBILITY The course will include exploration of the surrounding environment, with consideration of environmental and social issues, walks, talks, exercises, games and challenges. The aim: eventually to prepare simple, individual remedies using local resources [ie plants, brains, hands, fridge and heart]. The course will be run from the practice of and Carol Church 3 The Grove COULSDON Surrey CR5 2BH Over three Saturdays February 10th and 17th and March 3rd 2007 From 10 am to 4 pm. Numbers will be limited to 10 [minimum 6] Total cost for all 3 days £180. It is not possible to do individual days, the teaching is concurrent and complete.
