Stills and eye problems

I have a question for everyone...I have an appointment with an opthamalogist

next month. I've been having some visual problems since before I was diagnosed

with Stills. I know steroids can cause vision issues, but these were happening

before the steroids. I know some of my symptoms are the same symptoms as

macular degeneration. I'm not old enough for age-related macular degeneration,

so it can't be that. I had a thourough exam by my regular eye doc, a CT of my

sinuses, an MRI and MRA of the brain. All were " negative. " My RD said Stills

can cause inflamation in the eyes and that area. But he thought if that was the

case, my reg. eye doc should have been able to see something. The regular eye

doc said he couldn't find anything " tissue wise " that would account for my eye

issues. He thought maybe something was putting pressure on the optic nerve.

That's why I had the scans done. I'm sure the opthomalogist will have some

other ideas. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like

this. I can see. I wouldn't even say things are blurry. The vision just isn't

right. There is a tiny area of vision loss in the very center, but my eye doc

didn't see anything wrong with my macula. I have some floaters that have been

there for years. I feel like I'm always trying to blink to clear my vision, but

that doesn't really do anything. I think it's just habit more than anything. I

find myself holding the newspaper or magazine at an odd angle. Things like

that. Wierd...just wanted opinions before going to the eye specialist.

Thanks,

April
