She does have diabetes, it just isn't showing big time yet, in any event, it shows she has a problem handling food, even once this means she would do well to control the pp bg, she'd have to find a eating plan that won't raise the bg, pp, she may be able to get a hold of this early to avoid the complications later on if the dm is ignored. A non diabetic can handle any type food, any amount, sugar or carbs, doesn't matter. Bg will not go up pp as pancreas takes care of this while the person is eating. carol

We diabetics can save others a lot of grief by helping guide them toward medical help when we suspect they are developing symptoms. I have never tested below 62 (plasma), and that was after intensive work when I was building my addition and also when my HbA1c was 5.8. I have also tested mid-night to see if I was low when I was having morning highs.. Nope.. In fact, I rarely go under 100, maybe an occasional in the 90's. -- Dave -- Wednesday, October 25, 2000 t2 8/98 Glucophage ICQ 10312009 «» DavOr's daily aphorism: Wisdom is knowing what to do with what you know. -- Visit my photo page @ http://www.dorcutt.homepage.com
