Guest guest
Celesiac, Effexor / Venlafaxine is a great antidepressant! I´m happy cos ur ok with it! I had those terrible shockes all over my body in 94 for 3wks and then, they r gone without any medication or dxs LOVE, Andreiahttp://msmemoriesandthoughts.bravehost.com Meds and Treatments Thanks everyone for the info. I don't see that anyone has used Effexor XR. My doc has me on that for the depression. It does help with the depression and so far it has been the only thing that has helped with the L Hermitts symptom, which is pretty bad for me. That shocking stuff will start and NOT stop until my whiole body is just jumping and I finally go into a seizure and pass out. (This scares the crap out of my hubby) If I stay on the Effexor, it does not happen. I have tried to "tough it out" and have avoided pain meds until the past couple of months. I told my doc I had to have something if I was going to function. He gave me Flexoril, which is useless. He said it would help with the muscle spasma and cramps. It doesn't help that or the burny/yet cold/tingling feelings.I am hoping when I get to Cleveland in Arpil, they will get me on soemthing that is more helpful. Guest guest
Celesia, I am on Effexor XR. I've been on it almost 2 months now. It's working for me depression wise. I am on Zanaflex for my spasticity. It works for me. I take Trileptal for the burning/tingling sensations. I know if I've forgotten to take it! It helps me that much. Let us know what they say at Cleveland. I just got lost in thought. It was unfamiliar territory. -- Meds and Treatments Thanks everyone for the info. I don't see that anyone has used Effexor XR.
