Dear Lori,

Can i ask what does psoriasis have to do with a rheumy? I have had psoriasis in

my scalp since i was in my early 30's' Does this possibly have anything to do

with my pain issues? Sorry for sounding stupid here, but, i dont see the

connection. Thanks for listening.....janine

Not stupid at all, Janine. I have had Psoriasis for about 25 years.

I had no idea untill recently that it is actually an auto-immune

disease. There are several arthritis' that are because of

psoriasis, among other issues. Not all people with P. will have any

other problems related to it, but it is something to consider

mentioning to your doc if he/she doesn't know about it (We tend to

omit the problems that aren't bothering us so much) Hope that helps....

Blessed be, Lori in California

Hey, thanks Jan :-)

You are right about why they were testing for AS...the rest of the

testing is yet to come, I suppose. It *would* be nice to know what

was going on in my body!!

Blessed be,Lori in California

Both were negative, but that is also how they came to the conlcusion

it was Fibromyalgia. MIn one of my last appts., my rheumy says he has

been seeing more and more patiens with psoriasis come through his

office than ever before - which I thought was kind of interesting....

Lori,

I can definitely relate to that. I also wish once we were truly " figured out "

then we could all be " cured " !

Good Luck!

Jan :-)
