Guest guest
OH! I LOVED the message from our SMILING LIBRARIAN! Isn't this exciting! Our lending library is finally real--the culmination of a dream for me. I have a book to add to the library. "Living Beyond Multiple Sclerosis...A Woman's Guide" written by 'Judith Lynn Nichols and her online group of MS sisters'. Judith Lynn Nichols wrote "Women Living with Multiple Sclerosis"--she has an online support group and the first book quoted her online friends a lot. I gave copies of her first book to my neurologist and my gynecologist. That neuro has a mother-in-law with MS and the gynecologist's mother has MS. So I will send the book on the Lynn (unless Challis has time to read it now, then she can send it on to Lynn). Lynn: send me your mailing address again please. This time I promise to put it in my address book! Remember folks --- Lynn can use donations if you have books to spare and MONEY to donate. lol... she needs money for postage. When the tape is requested she sends it out Priority Mail so the person can get it quick. Then they can return it media mail. Lynn: do you have a PayPal account for folks to send donations to or do you prefer checks mailed to you? If you have a PayPal account what email address is it under? hugs) SharonLYNN wrote: Dear Members, The library now consist of the 10 tapes and 5 dvds of the Lawyer talking about how to get your Social Securty Disabity. Guest guest
Thanks Sharon, I do not have a PayPal account but checks or money orders would be fine. Checks Money Orders and Books can be sent to Lynn Cass PO Box 58 Fountaintown, IN 46130 I am setting up a special bookcase for the lending library and it is looking bare. I did pick up a new book that will be added. Reader's Digest Healing Power of Food & Vitamins "Attack Illness with Everyday Meals. A-Z Guide to Healthy Eating" TALK to me Members What time limit do you think should be put on the borrowed items? I was thinking 3 weeks. What type of Materials would you like to have added to the shelves? Do you think we should have one location or do we need extra distrubution stations across the country? Will you make use of the Lending Library? Add questions of your own if you have any. Also the ones who have borrowed the tapes we would like to hear from you about what you thought. Martha reported that it was very helpful for her. What about the others? Your Smiling Librarian Lynn Re: The Lending Library OH! I LOVED the message from our SMILING LIBRARIAN! Isn't this exciting! Guest guest
Hey there everyone, Although I have a really bad memory, I can help out with stuff if you need me to. Everyone here just tells me what to do and writes it down and it gets done. It would be great if you could get a paypal account, it is so easy to send money that way. I do it all the time. Oh yeah, I am gonna try and put my pic up in the photos section, you guys will get a kick out of it. Check it this afternoon. It should be there by then, unless I forget LOL. --- LYNN wrote: > Thanks Sharon, > I do not have a PayPal account but checks or money > orders would be fine. > Checks Money Orders and Books can be sent to > Lynn Cass > PO Box 58 > Fountaintown, IN 46130 > > I am setting up a special bookcase for the lending > library and it is looking bare. Guest guest
Sharon, Number 4 went out on Monday August 16th. One reason for asking the members who have used the tapes to comment on it was to help other to realize that we do have something that could help them to understand better how to go about getting the SSDI I think it would also help them if the have disability insurance of any kind. Guest guest
ROFL Mother. I've thought of buying you the cheap little books, filling them in and giving them to you now and then. lol I have found that my big Journal does okay with keeping itself found. It's a good size, so not as easy to hide itself under or behind things. I just took the sticky tabs and put one in every so-many pages, then ABC'd the labels. It's worked pretty good. I'm also not bound by those little bitty, hard to read or fill-in, spaces most address books leave you. Maybe if we get you a very big journal... lol Challis Challis! You quit telling on me!!! I want you to know I just bought a new address book yesterday at Family Dollar. I will start putting addresses in it as soon as I find it... I know it's around here somewhere... love, Mom (aka Sharon)WeavinnRaftin@... wrote: OMGosh, the "Address Book" <wink wink nudge nudge>. Don't believe her, Lynn. Guest guest
Thanks Jackie, No, you do not have to send the names first. Duplicates are fine, you never know when 2 people will want the same book at the same time. Did you check out the site for the Library? And I set up a Paypal account so we should be all set for books and donations to come in. I know you are busy but we have not heard from you for a while are you doing ok? You take care and I will be watching for the books to arrive in the near future. Guest guest
Hi Bill, I did mean to reply to this right after I got it but I let it slide While was doing wood working in his shop before it became a cb shop I had him making shelves for me a plenty. And I have emptied at least a couple when I moved my pc and desk down stairs. So I still Have some in reserve but I may have to keep the library upstairs but that is ok too. I may have to get some one help me set it up but I can manage the stairs at least once a day most days and if not I will call some one to go up for me. the blessings of a big loving family.
