Guest guest
So I've been having terrible pain in my shoulder since December. Had an mri Friday and it shows a cyst in my shoulder joint. Today I see an orthopedic surgeon thinking he will just drain it or something. First thing he wants to do is a steroid shot and I explain about lyme and steroids. He was very nice about it and didn't even question it. He gets the mri and looks at it and isn't convinced the cyst is causing the pain. He used to work with hubby and was very upfront about everything. He said he was concerned about the way the bone looked and said if I'd had cancer in the past it wouldn't concern him. So now I'm going for a bone scan to rule out cancer. I've had cancer scares before but this time really has me worried. I guess because of the amount of pain I'm in. He did schedule me for some ultra sound therapy. I think that's what it is called but could be something else. My brain is fried right now. I just keep wondering if lyme could cause this pain but I guess that wouldn't explain why the bone looked like that. Everything isn't always lyme even though I try to convince myself it is. I'm not sure why I even told you all this. I guess I just needed to talk to someone. I don't talk about my health to anyone other than my wonderful hubby and kids and I don't want them to know how worried I am. Anyway, thanks for listening. I will feel better about it tomorrow, hopefully. Connie-- Connie
