Guest guest
Thankfully my shockies only happened that one day. Today it was the shakes. My right hand was shaking really hard. People noticed it. My coworkers pointed it out and were concerned. I really don't know what to say to them at this point. There is no way I would come strait out and say, "I think its because I think I might have MS." I'm having tiny full body tremors. Its interesting more than annoying. Maybe it accounts for my exaustion. Patti Hey Patti, I've always chalked my checkwriting up to the other *stuff* going on. But who knows anymore. The electric lip. I've had that. Just about 30 minutes ago was the last. lol My lip is numb a lot lately. I've noticed some words seem slurry to me, just because my lip doesn't form the word as it should. It's like the numb of an ice cube on skin. Then come the buzzy, shocky things. I guess that's to be sure I don't forget about the lip? lol I remember years ago, a few sips of a beer or whine cooler, etc., and my lip would tingle or feel a bit numbish. I've always been a lightweight. Now I guess it doesn't even take the alcohol. <gg> Challis Hey Challis, There was a time when I had trouble writing checks. I would write the date in the money spot or the money amount in the date spot. I think once I couldn't write my signature once the first time I tried. I was writing checks because I couldn't get my employee discount if I used my ATM card. After a while I gave up on checks and just used the card. My writing is fine again. Thank goodness! There were times when I would forget Spanish words that I was certain I knew. I'm still learning Spanish so I didn't think much of it. Now I'm forgetting English words and people's names. I'll remember the word or name about 15 minutes later. Today I had a tiny electrical shock feeling above my upper lip that happened about every few minutes or so. I'm wondering if anyone else has this happen to them. Its hot here for the first time this summer. I'm hoping my recent symptoms are just heat related because It should cool down by October. Guest guest
That's a good idea. I just said, "I'm seeing a doctor about that and he hasn't figured out what it is yet." That's the truth. Patti Hi Patti, how about something like. Thanks for pointing that out I need to make note of it as the dr wants a list of all the odd things that happen to me so he can decide what test to run. Just an idea. Guest guest
Yeah. All those *little* things sure can make you tired, can't they? If it's MS, it could just be that, even without all the added 'bonuses'. Next time tell them you're just so excited because you're having Chinese take-out that night. lol Hugs, Challis Thankfully my shockies only happened that one day. Today it was the shakes.
