Guest guest
Many thanks for the info Zoe...the only other person that I know uses one is Church, and as you mention the Marc is practical dry once pressed. > > Hi All, > I have had a hydraulic herb press made for me by an engineering company. It is similar to the press made by Horizon herbs in the USA. I have had it for about 3 months and found it to be very efficient at extracting maximum volumes of tincture. > The marc is always dry when I empty it out of the container. I find my vigo quite often leaves lots of residual sogginess in the marc. > > We have set up a basic web page about it: > > http://web.me.com/bluebuoydesign/Herb_Tincture_Press/Photos.html > > and had intention to do more but we are about to adopt 2 children so are having to be realistic about what we can achieve in the near future! I know lots of people are interested in herb presses so I wanted to let you all know that there is a company that has made one that is working well. > > There is a contact details at the bottom of the page for the company but if you would like to know more about it and how it's working please feel free to contact me off list. > > Thanks! > > Zoe > > Medical Herbalist > MNIMH CPP Dip. Guest guest
We have a fantastic one for Broad Oak Herbs that we had made by a local engineer. Cost around £500. Use it on the farm. It did very well in year one an we look forward to putting it through its paces this year. Best wishes Jacqui > > > > Hi All, > > I have had a hydraulic herb press made for me by an engineering company. It is similar to the press made by Horizon herbs in the USA.
