Guest guest
Dave, That book was made for ME! I'm no cook but I can cook EFL style. :-) Glad to see you back here. If you can make it through a spinning class, you're doing big things at 45! I'm looking forward to meeting you in Pensacola. Guest guest
Alli, Hang in there, I have a feeling you will get the answers and relief you need very soon. A friend of mine told me last week that in order to get the rain, I had to endure a little mud first, lol... Feel better today! Gail (KY) Subject: my update To: " stillsdisease " <Stillsdisease > Date: Tuesday, June 9, 2009, 3:09 AM Hi stills family - I know so many of you are scared and hurting. When I saw my GP I was so scared she actually caught me with a couple of tears - we weren't exepecting to see her for a while still. So my husband actually helped go through what was going on, she looked at my, look at the weight loss and we talked. I did tell her that I hadn't been this scared in a while, like I felt like I'd take my pills, but they'd never have time to even absorb in my system. Anyway, we are waiting to here back on many of the test, I still don't want to eat a thing and it's still hard to even drink much, but i'm working on it. I just had my every two hour wake up by the nurses, they have been awesome, for a regional med center, with a 1000 rooms or so, and they put me in a private room since they don't want me getting sick from someone else... It's really a nice place for a resort that is. it's not home, but I think I'd just be getting sicker and sicker there. So, anyway, Thanks for all of your advice and support. You guys are awesome. hugs to all - hang in there everyone. Alli
Guest guest
Alli, my daughter spent 10 months at 'Le Resort Stanford' and your symptoms sound a lot like hers.? She initially checked in due to extreme weight loss, diarrhea.....Sacramento resort wanted to give her fluids and send her home, but Stanford docs said admit her and because of that she is still alive.? The weight loss/fluid loss was due to the tremendous amount of fluid everywhere in her body - overachiever that she is.? Her intestines were not absorbing any of the food she ate nor any of the meds....That is why the meds weren't working. So, bottom line - when you go home - rest like there is no tomorrow, take all of the appropriate meds and eat well. Take good care,? Dear.......I stayed with my daughter in her room for the entire 10 months.? We lost everything - but not my daughter!? You are the most important thing!! my update Hi stills family - I know so many of you are scared and hurting. Guest guest
Charlotte, thanks for the info... My GP is taking this very seriously, more so than the Rheumy, thank GOD for HER. She deserves a medal!!!... She did a CT scan today to see if she could see anything else, she changed my diet from clear liq to next level, which is like tomato soup, which I got that down, but not the pudding - couldn't get that down.. fever is going up... on schedule, just like yesterday.... but not as crazy today, so I can try to get some rest today now that ct scan is done. I don't know the plans yet, but my potassium is still down so - just one day at a time...
