Guest guest
Hello to all; I am a mother of 5 and a grandmother of 1. There ranges of my kids are 25 yrs to 3yrs. My 5 yr old son (Maitlan) is MDS. We live in the Highland MI, area. We were told about Maitlan the minute he was born. Maitlan is a wonderful child and sometimes I forget he even has MDS. He comes up with so many great thoughts and words that he keeps us thinking. Maitlan is really no different then my other four kids. Everyone of them learn in different ways. They all have different talents. Maitlan has been a great blessing to our family and home. I also believe that God only gives us what we can handle and things always looks bad at first. My husband just came home this week to tell us he was down sized at work. We are now out there looking for a job any where we can, we are also looking for medical help to make sure Maitlan who has a lot of medical needs are still met. The doctor told me today I sound real good even though things this week have been hard. I can fight for what my family needs or I can sit and cry. We are a strong healthy family and we will find the help and job out there we need. I want to say to everyone thank you so much for all your words and help. I know I read everything that comes through but do not write a lot because of my own spelling challenges. What a great group and thank you so much for being there. mother of Mellissa (25), Morghan (22), (18) ADHD, Maitlan (6), McKlaine (3) and my grand daut. Kadince (5). -- -------------- Original message --------------
