Guest guest
In response to your question regarding placement of the electrode pads of your tens unit, you place the pads on opposite sides to the painful area. This way the flow of electricity passes across the pain site and back again, depending on whether you have your unit set on flow or pulse. Good luck. The tens unit is a helpful device to reduce pain levels. Note: Do not use your tens unit while driving. It can cause attentive distractions. Hope this information is helpful. Guest guest
In all honesty, no... Because my back has such violent muscle spasms, and that is where I need it, I can't put it there. I use a referred nerve method by placing in on my abs, because the same nerves work the back as the abs. It makes my stomach tighten and relax. By the end of the treatment my back hurts, my abs kill, but I feel like I did a bit of a workout to keep my stomach muscles strong! In my leg if I use it with heat and traction I get some reduction of the numbness, but even that doesn't last once I take it off! Tell me how it works for you!
