Guest guest
Hi all, I am actually no longer a herbalist as I am now at medical school and too busy to practice, even part time. I have stayed on the list out of interest though and now would like to ask for some advice. I've just been diagnosed with follicular thyroid cancer - it's quite advanced already and has vascular invasion and lymph node spread. I need the remainder of my gland removed and a radical neck dissection which sounds ghastly. I can't help but wonder if my original very large goitre had been taken seriously back in April when it first presented, I wouldn't now be facing this extra surgery! Has anyone any experience of herbal adjuvant therapies I can take prior to surgery or after to help recovery? Medical school has so dominated my life over recent years, my herbal approaches to cancer and surgery seem a lifetime ago....! Thank you for your help. Tither Subject: PCOS To: " ukherbal group " <ukherbal-list > Date: Sunday, 17 October, 2010, 14:53  I treat this condition using Tr. Paonia, Tr. Serenoa, Glycorrhiza (F.E.), and Mentha spic (tea or tincture). The most distressing aspect of the condition with most women I find is hirsutism. I have had patients I've treated for PCOS go on to becoming pregnant by the way.  Anne
