Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Has anyone ever used Toddy Coffee for Enemas. Toddy coffee which is done by a cold water process is supposed to have 67% less acid. Since doing coffee enemas, my body has gone from Alkaline to acidic. I don't know if this is because I have been coiling about as long and the neurotoxins from Lyme makes me acidic. Anyway, I just ordered a Toddy Coffee maker from Amazon as I think it would be better for Enemas as it is so much less Acidic. Does anyone have any ideas on this? I am really trying to make an effort to alkalinize my body. I am going to start taking more minerals and am doing Green Smoothies. Thanks,
Guest guest
Hi ,I have a Toddy setup and used to love the coffee syrup it made, but I noticed that even that made my stomach more acid and after a while, I finally gave up all coffee because it was stressing my adrenals. Sounds like it might be worth a try in enema form. I don't think it would be any worse than the organic instant i use.I've decreased the amount (2tsp) I use since taking MSM, as I was starting to get the jitters. Now I'm fine on 1tsp.Are you drinking fresh lemons squeezed in water? They metabolize into an alkaline 'ash' in the body. Also ASG, or B.S. would help change your ph back if the neurotoxins are changing it. I've noticed that these things help smooth out herxes, too.Be well,Léna Hi Everyone, Has anyone ever used Toddy Coffee for Enemas. Guest guest
Hi and Lena, I am very new to the forum so may be asking some obvious questions... Do you actually check your body's pH or do you know you are acidic based on how you feel? I am curious because I just started taking Alka Seltzer Gold (ASG?) due to bad herx symptoms. I don't know if it's helping yet but it tastes good and feels like my body really needs it so I would guess I am pretty acidic. Just wondering if I should be testing my pH. I am a huge fan of coffee enemas (life savers) although I haven't heard anything about toddy coffee enemas. Sorry I can't address the toddy/acidity question. Guest guest
One thing I do to alkalize is take baking soda baths. I got the idea from a Vitamin K/autism group that I found via Dr. Klinghardt's website. They suggest using 8 cups per bath (4 - 1# boxes of sodium bicarbonate). I've asked several times - why 8 cups? - but I never got a reply. Most bath detox recipes use less, so you can just experiment and see what works for you. I buy the Walgreen's brand generic when it's on sale for 50 cents a box (this week!) and it seems fine. I also like to add a few cups of magnesium chloride flakes to make magnesium bicarbonate. I " m also using the mag chloride flakes to raise my DHEA levels and it seems to have worked. My DHEA level did go up on lab work. I usually try to soak for at least an hour (most say 20 mins to 1/2 hour is OK) because I only manage to do this about once a week. This is one of the few things that helps me feel a little bit better. hth Kendra > Hi Everyone, > > Has anyone ever used Toddy Coffee for Enemas. Guest guest
Hi Abby,i used to test, but now, unless my system gets very out of whack, I seem to recognize what it needs and what it should avoid, or it tells me, in no uncertain terms. Unfortunately, living with Lyme gives us lots of time to develop a pretty refined awareness, most of the time. As I get better, I try to focus on things other than my vital signs. I used to monitor everything and it took a lot of time, but that feedback, combined with my own observations accumulated. A small comfort in the management of a chronic disease! Some argue against CEs as not being part of the body's natural healing strategies, but i feel that Lyme is such an unnatural thing, that any measure that helps the liver rid itself of damaging burdens is a good thing. Maybe father down the road I'll think differently but not presently. I skipped my CE this morning because nature hadn't moved first. Will remain open to the idea of one later on, or not, depending an what my body says. For anyone who can still drink coffee, google Toddy. It's a lovely way to convert a pound of coffee into a cold-filtered syrup which can then be stored in the fridge and added to hot water for a super smooth, mellow brew.Be well,Léna Hi and Lena, I am very new to the forum so may be asking some obvious questions... Guest guest
Hi Abby, A few things I use to raise my body pH are Prill water and fresh squeezed lemon juice. Both cost very little and work well and I do nothing but drink my Prill water with a lemon ice cube in it! I make the lemon ice cubes from fresh squeezed lemons... I take several lemons, skin, seeds and all and blender them, then strain the juice and throw out the pulp. I add about as much water as the juice, mix and pour into ice cube trays... When frozen, I put the cubes in a freezer bag... And typically each 12 oz glass of Prill water I drink also has a lemon cube in it! Healthy and good! If you are a member of Sam's Club, you also can buy baking soda, 12lbs for $5 and change all the time... Many of us are here are using magnesium oil, this also is good in a bath with baking soda. Nice to hear from you! Jim Do you feel this bath combo helps lower fatigue? > > Hi Everyone, > > > > Has anyone ever used Toddy Coffee for Enemas. Guest guest
Hi Kendra,I am also on K2 along with KPU protocol. I get my baking soda at Cosco. Not sure why they say to use so much but it seems to work better than the small amount I was using. It can calm down the dumping of metals etc. That is what Dr K says so supposedly if we r to akaline we will stop the process. I mainly use it when I can no longer handle symptoms.
