After all, my mom smoked and drank while she was pregnant, like 99% of other preggers women in the 60s and 70s, and my brother and I are fine. On the other hand, I quit smoking, quit drinking, gave up aspertame and caffeine... It's definitely the toxin-free pregnancy that did it. Weeellllll, after I sent that I DID wonder how wise it was. After all, my brother is antisocial and - well, nevermind about him, because I hate him. Even if it turned out he had Asperger's, I'd still hate him because of the person he is inside. When he's not apathetic he's being petty or vicious. As for me...weeeeelllll, I certainly AM tuned into tones of voice, what people think of me, etc...but my sensory issues, written in 12 pt type and stacked one atop the other in a grid, could match the great wall of China. So, well, yes, I guess my theory doesn't work. Especially since my MIL smoked and drank through HER pregnancy, and look at MARC. He should have an 'aspie' sign taped to his forehead. Ah well. I tried. But I don't fit into the pregnant bubble bath category because after a few months I was too big to get out of the tub!!!
