Guest guest
The original offerings I didn't like at first, it was the Cardio Parties that saved it for me. My favorites are Cardio Party Remix and the workouts from the Masters Series. Chalene cheorographs everything vs. the " free " flow of the Tae Bo workouts. The music in TJ rocks...most songs are easily recognizable. She does some moves different from Tae Bo but I do it the way taught me. Of course my favotire part is the Turbos. Her Martial Arts focus is Coipera vs. TKD so while there'll be recognizable moves, some " new " moves come from Coipera. Guest guest
Hi Anny. I am doing tae bo and turbo jam. I really like turbo jam. It is not as strenous as the boot camp workouts, but like tae bo, the level of workout has a lot to do with how much you put in to it. I like turbo jam because it is more dancy and has " jammin " music as a background. In general her moves are less repetitious than 's with lots of combinations of moves. In particular, I think she has incorporated a lot of moves that help with the oblique abominal muscles for the love handle area. I have also found that her emphasis on good position for the knees and the slightly slower pace has allowed my poor knees to do better, and I am able to incorporate some ot that when I do taebo. She always has 1 or 2 people demonstrating a lower impact way to do the workout, and I also found that usedful to help me in tae bo when the moves are too hard. I am able to tone them down and continue so I can get a longer workout. I also find myself modifying some of the moves in tae bo to more effectively work my abs. I like the cardio workouts, but I also like her totally tubular workout with resistance bands and the punch, kick and jam workout. She has a 20 minute workout that comes in handy sometimes and an abs workout with half of it done standing up, rather than all floor work. For me it is more doable than some of 's ab workouts which are too much too fast for me. Bottom Line for me is that I like them, they compliment each other and keep boredom away as well. Guest guest
Thanks for the replies, Delana and Gymmie. I've said I'll take the set ( its the original infomercial one with 5 workouts) and I'll see how I go! The thing I like about Taebo s that billy kicks my b**t - so am not sure if I'll get that same feling from TJ. I love the feeling after a hard workout! lol! Guest guest
: I am doing tae bo and turbo jam. I really like turbo jam. I'm so torn about trying TJ. I'm not into dancy moves. I should really see if I could borrow one. I wonder if Netflix has them? Regina

I love the feeling after a hard workout! lol! Anny, my SIL tried TJ after years of doing TB and she didn't like it and she felt the pace was too slow for her. I'm not trying to discourage of you of course....just another opinion! Regina

Guest guest
Dear Taebo'ers What kinda shoes do you ladies wear to get the ultimate workout with Blanks I wear running shoes which is all I have at the moment. Guest guest
I didn't used to wear shoes at all, but I just started recently and I have found it helps my knees because I have very flat feet and loose ankles and keeping them more stable takes the load off the knees. I am just wearing my cross trainer shoes that I use for other activities. Delana.
