York group visit to York University

I was immensely impressed by a visit to the laboratories of Prof Norman Maitland at York (the old one in the UK) University.He has about 20 staff working on PCa research. One man often works 18 hours a day. The committment and enthusiasm to get to a better system of testing and treatment was amazing. The vast array of work ranged from the vaccines to dealing with the stem cells that are the root of PCa relatively less reactive and seemingly not controlled by Hormone Manipulation. Some good work by Prof Maitland has already been published but there looks to be a lot more on the way.Best wishes
