Guest guest Posted April 19, 2006 Report Share Posted April 19, 2006 I am aware that I have been advising different patients with skin problems to take a zinc supplement, in the form of zinc citrate as I had heard that it is the most easily absorbable form of zinc. However, I have also been advising the same patients to cut out citrus fruits from their diets, which seems almost contradictory! I am just wondering whether, in fact, it is a good idea for people with skin problems such as eczema to take zinc citrate, or whether it is better to try another form of zinc?
