Guest guest
I have a friend who would like treatment for prostate cancer. He has had a biopsy, and they said it was 90% by volume (not sure what that means really), Gleeson score is 7, PSA 8.6. He hasn't had a scan yet. He's cutting out red meat and animal fats, started taking green tea and soya. He also is on a cocktail of other medication: Beta-blockers, priodol (lithium), colchicone for gout, leva-thyroxine. Am thinking of giving him: Mycopro's PS complex (Reishi etc) Tea of viola odorata, gotu kola, phytolacca, scut, calendula, trifolium Plus tincures of echinacea, tababuia, thuja. Not sure whether to give him essiac - feel a bit uneasy with all the other meds, and would be grateful for advice. Cheers Janet
Guest guest
That's a high Gleeson score. He will need a BUCKET LOAD OF turmeric and you might want to consider atermisin and other cytotoxic herbs J Fidler, MCPP, (RH) AHGHerbalist Subject: Prostate cancerTo: "uk herbal list" <ukherbal-list >Date: Monday, October 24, 2011, 12:12 PM I have a friend who would like treatment for prostate cancer. Guest guest
Essiac is not very useful for prostate cancer. Better for GIT cancers. I would use a lot of anti-inflammatories as it is high grade and large volume. At least it has hopefully been caught before it has spread if the PSA is 8.6.
