Maybe someone else will address this and give you a more concrete answer. I just

wanted to send you an immediate reply that YES, pain does raise glucose levels.

I'm sure it is worse for some of us than others. If my doc looks at either my

migraine log or glucose level log, he'll already know what he's going to find in

the other one. In my case, I really can't eat when I have a migraine, so the

increase isn't all that significant. For that reason, I don't know what to

advise you to do. Surely, someone else will have some good advice for you.

Hi everyone.My blood sugar has been doing pretty good,running a avg. on 140

-155,but I have notice a pattern.When my hand and arm really start to bother

me,my blood sugar goes through the ceiling.Ido have a lot of pain with my hand

and arm if I try to use them very much,and this is when I've notice that my

blood sugar also raises a lot.If when I go to bed and my arm and hand hurts,my

fasting blood sugar in the morning is 215 -255.It seems the more pain the higher

the reading.Has this happen to anyone,and if so what did you do? thanks D.J.

DJ, I seem to remember a painter that had his brush strapped to his

forearm. Mybe you could paint with a mouse, ever used paint program?

Dave, thank you.I always felt very lucky,I never had to choose one

grandparent over the other,all grandparents added so much to who I am and to

my life.I learned early in life there was one god,one heaven,and a lot of

different paths to the same place.No path being better then the other.I was

lucky to be shown 2 of the paths, and never made to choose. D.J.

Really? When mine is high, I can tell too, with me its my feet, they get

really hot feeling, and that awful nerve pain starts up, under my toenails

and between my toes, so when I inject my insulin it does subside

also make sure its not the high bg thats causing the pain? Like with me.

Have you seen a dr for nerve and xray study?
