She as been dxwith HOD, that went untreated. 4 othro surgeons have decided that surgery isnot an option for this girl. She is on Tramadol, and Meloxicam for life...(howeverlong that will be) the rDVM is unsure how much pain she is in, but all feelthe hips are more painful than the forelimbs and spine. With that inmind i am thinking that swimming (starting in perhaps only 3 min) may be alifelong tx protocol...in hopes of building some muscle of the hips so they cansupport some of her body weight. She has hadall bloodwork which is all wnl.... Any suggestionswould be greatly appreciated. I have anuwtm, laser, estim, swimming pool and all physio exercise equipment...i havetaken her on as a foster so would love some ideas. Tania See attachedxrays
