last week was my first week back at work.

it was very chaotic as there was all sorts of HR and benefits stuff

that I had to do. I ended up very literally running during lunch 2 or

3 days. To the parking place, to the car to get stuff I forgot, for

errands I had to do etc....

And, the restrooms on my floor are out of order so i have been up and

down the stairs more times than i can count. My hips and knees have

been a little sore over that one and by friday after running

(literally) errands during lunch, I was taking the elevator up and

down that 1 floor.

I went walking every other night for the past 2 weeks and that really

made a different. I definitely could not have done that running

during lunch if it hadn't been for all the prior walking.

I've been doing good on my eating, but i've caught a stomach bug which

i hope i'm over now, but i cant quite tell as i'm still getting queasy

on occasion.

I havent made it to the gym yet, and i have 3 lunch time meetings next

week, so I dont know about next week. We were blessed with fantastic

weather last week so I got out and walked all my errands on lunches.

I finally found parking and it's probably 1/2 of a mile away from my

worksite. So i definitely will be getting my excercise. It's all up

hill on the way back in the afternoon, i think i'm prepared for it now.

Parking has gone up from $120 when i worked there 2 years ago to $180

the lot I found was $85 because of the walk. I need the walk and i

need the cash, so that's the one I chose!

I hope I have good news to report next week on the gym. I got my

excercise today. We did a corn maze, and they had worked out that it

was between 1 & 2 miles in length. so between that and walking around

the farm and pushing my son on his bike, i didnt do too badly.

oh hey the kid fell asleep. i guess i get to go to bed early!

take care everyone!

until next weekend.
