Guest guest
I have a daughter that is a bit older than yours, but our stories are so similar. If you would like to write to me Witherspoonk@... I will be happy to correspond. You and your daughter's stories are "our" stories. These young people say the same words. I also have a younger daughter named Charlotte. Such a beautiful name! My daughter is extremely fatigued, so she more than likely won't email. Perhaps, if she has a good hour or so I could ask her to write a quick email to your daughter. That may not happen, however I would like to chat with you if you have any interest. If you email me I will email you back my phone number if you prefer to speak on the phone. My daughter also has the same sleep patterns as yours, it is not a matter of "choosing" when you sleep, rather sleeping when you can. We are early, early risers and my daughter use to be up with the rooster. Literally, as we have many chickens and she loved the early hours. Those are nothing but a distant memory. If you don't email me off the list, please know your daughter has a horrible illness, she has no more control over sleep, ups and downs, negative, pessimistic attitude than someone with any of the other horrific diseases. I think Lyme is particularly challenging because there is so many misunderstandings, no one comes bearing gifts, flowers, loads of empathy, no pre made dinners. Seems to me every questions whether you are really sick, why you can't pull yourself up by the bootstraps, and as the parent why you don't get her the help she needs. After all you are in charge, it is high time you do something. It is a very lonely disease in my opinion. This is a very loving group that extends far beyond shop talk. Again, please feel free to email me. ( My heart goes out to you and your daughter) My daughter also missed her highschool graduation. );
