I know the book you need if you don't already have it.

It is Stuart Mc The Insider's Tell-All Handbook on

Weight-Training Technique. This book gives extensive detail on many

exercises. Buy it! You won't regret it. I've referred to it many

times.

Here's a link to the book at Amazon

known to man (and woman) that shows HOW TO DO THEM???? We have a book that has

a few, but I need something that has everything in it, so I know how to do some

of that cable stuff, and other things that have names, but no idea on how to do

them properly. I'd be soooo appreciative if someone knows if there is such a

thing. TIA.....

After thinking long an hard about this one, I think there is a

collectively produced reference guide that you can enjoy. It's

called... the Internet! :)

I mean, for pete's sake, I'm sure someone can suggest that typing this

reply can be considered an exercise, as can exercising your bowels.

...Which some may think I'm doing WITH this response. :)

I'm quite sure this advice doesn't help you. ...But, I may have raised

just the slightest smile, so it was worth it. Our group has been

ominously quiet lately. ...Another summer lull?

I would like to second Andy's assessment of Mc' book. It is

VERY thorough. I don't know that it has " every exercise known " , but

it sure has a lot and I'd say all of the basics. The descriptions

are really detailed regarding proper form. Well worth it.

that will benefit them.

Speaking of which... (and PS I agree whole heartedly about ) a

caregiver from the local support group in MA brought the thought up how

interesting/useful a book by caregivers of LBD would be. She mentioned

it a couple of times and would be interested in doing so with others.

This idea was tossed on this board awhile ago too. I bet if there was

interest from a few of us here, we could compile stories from

caregivers just on this board and come up with a rather interesting

read. Maybe titled " Welcome to Lewy'ville " . Anyone interested?
