Guest guest
Lynn, I cannot figure out how much progesterone is in a sublingual tablet. I would not try it without more information. The web site did not have further information that I could find. I have found that sublingual progesterone is very helpful for relieving my progesterone withdrawal headaches (caused by discontinuing my vag. progesterone). The brand I have been using is Liposomal Progesterone Liquid by BioGenesis: http://www.rockwellnutrition.com/product.asp?itemid=1073 It works really fast for me to eliminate a menstrual headache. I just wonder how many women out there suffer with menstrual headaches that would be helped by a SL dose of progesterone. SL progesterone does not give me awful effects like oral progesterone does. I just do not trust it to protect my endometrium so I use vaginal progesterone for that. I really dislike progesterone except when it relieves a migraine-like pounding headache. I am suseptable to caffeine withdrawal headaches also; progesterone withdrawal headaches are very similar for me. Guest guest
Hi Lynn, Would you mind giving me the link for the Weston Price list? I am interested in reading more about SL progesterone. This month I used sublingual progesterone to help me wean off my vaginal progesterone. I started using a small amount of SL progesterone after I discontinued the vag. progesterone to possibly diminish my progesterone withdrawal symptoms. I found that I felt well during my period even on my heavy days when I would normally be feeling my worst for the month. I did not have to use my usual Alieve/Advil and was not stuck to the couch for two days with the " icky's " . It was more like a period that I would have had in my 20's where I just went on with things and did not feel bad. I am still in the process of weaning off the SL progesterone now hoping to avoid any progesterone withdrawal misery. The interesting thing is that the SL progesterone helped me sleep so well without my usual oral progesterone hangover the next day. The sleep thing is one of the reasons why I have been taking my time discontinuing it. I am not using the brand you mentioned below but some expired Biogenesis Liposomal Progesterone Liquid that I had in my closet. Thanks, Kathy > > I'm curious if anyone has tried this sublingual progesterone? > It was recommended on a weston price list I read. > > Lynn > > http://www.modernherbalist.com/products/progon-b.html > > Progon B is a plant-derived progesterone supplement that we have used > in our clinic over the last eight years.
