Guest guest
I probably would have ordered Turbo Jam a while back had it not been for Chalene herself. You know how there's always some instructor that you just can't tolerate?? Well she's it for me, lol. I hear they're fun though! Guest guest
I saw the same infomercial, it has a lot of similarity to tae bo, but seems to be more musical and choreographed, and I couldn't help myself and ordered it, should be here by next week so I'll let you know. Guest guest
Yes it is. Chalene choreographs all her workouts. Turbo Jam is the home version of the gym class Turbo Kick. She adds fun sound effects and all to the workouts. I didn't enjoy most of the infomercial set but the Cardio Parties saved it for me. I really enjoy CPR (Cardio Party Remix) it's part of her live set. She's due to release 4 more on the 16th. CPR takes from the 2 cardio parties but is 30 minutes and fun! The 2 turbos back to back rock. I saw the same infomercial, it has a lot of similarity to tae bo, but seems to be more musical and choreographed, -- Be a F.R.O.G . °Ü°GLYSDI,Gymmie in Texashttp://www.freewebs.com/zero2nine/

Guest guest
I'm new here and haven't had a change to say HOWDY! I'm and I live in Central Kansas and am a single mother to my 9 yr old son that's quite the firecracker. I have a hard time fitting my exercising into my schedule but have always loved doing my Tae Bo tapes. Since having knee surgery last August I haven't really been able to do much until the past couple of months and I sure did miss it. I also ordered the Turbo Jam DVD's and have been doing them for the past two weeks and LOVE IT!! The music totally fits with the routine that she's doing and you know how long your workout is going to be and how much time left, I just love doing them. It's very similar to Tae Bo but adds a bit of hip hop kick in there. I hope you enjoy your tapes as well. Guest guest
Wow Turbo Jam sounds so fun. I just went to www.turbojam.com and saw it. I've been looking for some sort of kickboxing workout with great music. That is such a motivator for me. I wish would do something with the music on Taebo. Looks like I'm gonna have to cheat on for awhile and order it on Friday. I'll let you guys know too when I get them!! M. > > I'll let you know, all I can say is it looked fun and effective. Guest guest
There is new ones coming out, now I'll have to get those. I just received my turbo jam yesterday and loved it this morning. What a great workout and I'm looking forward to doing it tomorrow, the weighted workout. I love the music and think this is right up there with the better Tae bo workouts. > > > > I saw the same infomercial, it has a lot of similarity to tae bo, but > > seems to be more musical and choreographed, > > > > > > -- > > Be a F.R.O.G . °Ü° > > GLYSDI, > > Gymmie in Texas > > > > http://www.freewebs.com/zero2nine/ > > >
Guest guest
Go to turbojam.com and you can preview a couple of the workouts right there. Also you can see the basic moves she uses on the site as well. I love the whole vibe, it was very positive and up lifting. What I've been missing from the boot camp kill you workouts. I understand where he's going with these but I love the old tae bo with the great music and lots of kicks and moves.
Guest guest
BB doesn't have previews of the workouts other than what they show in the infomercials. A lot of the songs are old school. She uses a lot of songs from a guy name Too Kool but the song everyone wants is not available anymore. I'm going blank on some of the names. But I know Party Train is one. She gives credits at the end but doesn't list the song names. As long as it doesn't get out of hand it's fine. We've had similar discussions on 's Club. (oh and sorry to be talking about something other than Taebo, I know I'm breaking one of the rules M. -- Be a F.R.O.G . °Ü°GLYSDI,Gymmie in Texashttp://www.freewebs.com/zero2nine/

Guest guest
I have only been doing tae bo for a year and a half. I started with one of the older workout, Tae Bo II Get Ripped. I loved them when I started. When the first recent bootcamp came out last year, I hated them. But now I love them because they do a better job of toning my body. The music is not always my favorite but the workouts have helped me to have a very toned body, despite my over eating which prevents me from losing weight. That is why I have had reservations about buying Turbo Jam. I have been drooling over those workouts for a while and want to know if they render the same results as tae bo. I am always a hard sell. It took YEARS before I tried tae bo. I only want to try turbo jam so that i will have variety in my workouts. But I do think that I have nothing but about $70 bucks to lose and I have lost more money over more simple things. Everyone keep me posted on the results that you get with turbo jam. I am okay with the best thing about turbo jam being that you actually are just working out. Guest guest
hi,tyra i don't have turbo jam but i have cathe friedrich video called kick punch and crunch. it is a killer kickboxing workout. I put it in the same class with get ripped taebo videos. her videos are high quality and very hard(advanced) I sweat buckets when i do this work. I think you can only buy it on a dvd with another workout.the dvds are a bit pricey but people say they are worthy it with all the primex sp? they have. i was got mine for about $10.00. for the video. sorry if this is not what you were looking for. turbo jam looks like a basic taebo video, i think i want something advance since i have a lot of basic taebo tape. wish billy will make more of killer advance tapes like the get ripped. > >Reply-To: tae-bo_on >To: <tae-bo_on > >Subject: RE: Re: Turbo Jam >Date: Wed, 8 Mar 2006 11:09:14 -0500 > >Will let you know once I get my set. Guest guest
Glad you like it. I am alternating tae bo and turbo jam. I have found the turbo jam has helped me a lot with some of the tae bo moves and my knees feel so much better. I too am losing weight. And, for the first time, I am able to do some of the boot camp workouts without feeling defeated by them and without being so sore the next day that I can't move. They are a great combo. At first, I thought it was too easy but I found if you really put the energy in and groove along to the cool songs - you get a lot out of it and have fun! On some workouts I have been hlding light weights. The music is awesome and you feel like you are both dancing and kickboxing. It is a great complement to my Taebo - esp with 's Favourite Moves. And what is more - the change in routine has helped me started lsoing weight again - three pounds these last two weeks! Thanks for all your help in discussing TJ and whether or not to buy the set. There's 8 of them and I haven't even looked at them yet but I plan to try one out tomorrow. Regina
