I don't post here much, but I read all the posts on a daily basis and find it

such a comfort to know that I am not alone in my battle with this dreadful

condition. I have a question about a symptom I have never seen mentioned here.

This past weekend my family and I attended a wedding out of town. Although I

did everything I could to take care of myself, I still ended up having a very

tough day and was in a lot of pain by the time we turned out the lights in the

hotel room for the night. I was able to sleep fairly well through the night, in

fact I overslept in the morning, right through breakfast and the noise of

sharing one room with our three children. When I finally awoke, my entire

family was aghast at my appearance, my entire face was swollen with both of my

eyes swollen almost completely shut. I have no idea what would have caused

this. I do not currently have any sinus problems which would be my first

thought especially since when I stood up my nose started draining clear fluid

that was definitely NOT snot (sorry for being kinda icky) The only thing I can

think of is I have read where people have had CSF leakage through the nose, but

why would my eyes and everything be so swollen? I am totally at a loss here. I

mean, I can't imagine that big of a pocket of CSF buildup. I only wish I'd had

the forethought to have my husband take a picture so I could send it to my

doctor. What do you guys think?... just looking for some feedback, Thanks a

bunch
