,

I don't know if you've seen some of my more previous posts, but my

FIL who is 69 and has had LBD for about 3-4 years that we can think

of (he's about to get a firm diagnosis on Tues.) has just started

whispering in the last month. It's so soft and garbled that we can

barely understand anything he's saying. Then, when we can decipher

what he's saying, he repeats things like he's a parrot. We can't

figure out what's happening. I'm just guessing it's all part of the

disease. Yes, my FIL has been on Exelon for about 2 years now, so I

don't think the changes in his voice have anything to do with it.

Like you, I would be intereted to hear from others whose LO's are

doing the same thing. I tend to think my FIL is entering the end

stages of the disease. He is incontinent, and can't walk, bathe, or

do much of anything else without assistance. He drools all the time

and is mentally not there anymore. His asthma has also worsened in

the last several weeks and he's always been able to keep it under

control. He's had it for many years. I just think it will be a

miracle if he's around another year, but you never know.

Take care,

April
