Guest guest
I love my MBT shoes! Not the knockoff brands; they lack arch support. Real MBTs are just right for me because they restrict movement to one axis - forward and backward. I can't easily tip over sideways anymore. The shoes' arch supports are good, and I added prescription orthotic insoles so my arches no longer flatten. When walking in my sneaker-style MBTs, I roll from the back part of my arch to the ball of my foot. I do not walk on my heels or toes. They are so very comfortable. I just spent two months in a fracture boot. I had sauntered past my bookcase and caught my pinkie toe on the wood, earning a spiral break in my toe. To keep my hips and knees level while I used the boot, I wore my MBT on the other foot. They matched in sole height, rolled similarly on one primary axis, and I was able to walk easily and safely on all surfaces. Sandy in OR CM/SM/OTC/EDS+/TGFBR2 mutation.
