Guest guest
I have a massage therapist that is doing FREE massages on me for atleast 3 months. I have been getting trigger point injections every 4-6 weeks in my neck, occipital area, and right shoulder. She thought she might be able to help. I had no idea how great they would feel!! I have been able to get off my mid day muscle relaxers. Have not been near as fatigued ( she said my body is not wore out from pain ) Mentally it has been very beneficial. Well yesterday she worked a little more aggressively thinking I had built up some tolerance. VERY bad outcome. She worked on either side of my craniotomy and my first 2-3 vertebrae, the bones around my right ear. I had started with a bit of a headache and when she was done I felt good, the h/a was gone. However, about 3 hours later I think my ICP went through the roof. My head pressure was very intense like before I had my decompression. My question is ....Do you think this was cranial sacral therapy that so many talk about? I have searched for exactly what that is with no luck. I would like pictures of the area but haven't been able to find it. I did find one site that talks a little about CST getting your spinal fluid flowing better.... but that was really all I found. Any help would be great. I don't want to do that again if it is going to cause problems, but if it is just a no pain no gain thing I want to tough it out.
