Guest guest
Recently I have come across 2 cases of people whose cholesterol is not affected by their diet rather it is down to a low amount of cholesterol receptors in their liver which means they do not absorb and process as much as most people do and therefore the liver continues to synthesise it and increases the levels in the blood. I think liver herbs would be good for this problem but perhaps not bitters as this would increase bile output which would increase fat breakdown in the intestines and possibly more cholesterol absorption? What do you think? Which herbs? Bitters or just liver tonics? Natasha
