Guest guest
Hi everybody, I've been on BFL since may 1st. Started at 287lbs and now at 243lbs. Every 6 weeks I've been doing a body composition test and the test were showing major fat loss and not much muscle gain. I don't have a problem with that for now because my % fat was near 38% when I started and now it's at 23% and I have a solid frame, 6'2 " tall. The last body composition test that I did was 8 weeks ago and I did one yesterday. To my amazement, I lost 14 pounds in the past 8 weeks BUT my fat loss was only 4lbs and the rest was lean body mass. That is not good at all. I'm still overweight big time and I need to lose another 30 lbs of fat to be at healthy again. What surprises me is the lean mass that I lost. What could cause that? My training is the following; Day 1 ---------------------------- 25 mins weight training upper body - intense 30 mins bike cardio before diner - intense 30 mins bike cardio after diner - Not intense Day 2 ---------------------------- 25 mins weight training lower body - intense 30 mins bike cardio before diner - intense 30 mins bike cardio after diner - Not intense Day 3 ----------------------------- 25 Mins Core training - Abs..... - intense 30 mins bike cardio before diner - intense 30 mins bike cardio after diner - Not intense Day 4 ----------------------------- Day off or walk for 1 hour What I eat every day ========================= Breakfast --------- - 3 paks of regular oatmeal - 1 Apple - 1 no fat yogurt - Protein shake (Optimum) Morning snack ------------- BFL bar or a banana Lunch -------------- Chicken Wrap with low fat cheese 1 cup of Red beans in water 1/2 cup cottage cheese no fat Afternoon snack --------------- BFL bar or a banana or an apple Diner ---------- Chicken warp or salmon steak with a salad and a whole wheat roll. Late snack ---------- Apple with Protein Shake or bfl bar Am I working too much, not eating enough???? Any help would be appreciated.
