Guest guest
Suzin,I'm sorry you feel this way. I, for one, appreciate this group and everything it has to offer. For me to hear several different opinions helps me to decide what I need to do for myself. If it were not for this group, I would have never tried natural thyroid. If it were not for this group, I will still be depressed and not on the road to recovery. Thank you for this group. I appreciate all you do! I dont' mind at all listening to that Dr. guy....I take in what I need to take in and delete the rest! That's what everyone should do. I am so thankful for this group, it's helped me immensely. On a different note, I receive a thyroid weekly news thing in my email and it said they've done a couple of studies that shows people actually have been doing better taking their synthroid (T4) at night instead of in the morning...they said they have not studdied natural thyroid being taken at night and they also said more studies are needed (these were small studies)....but I wanted to try it because the study said the instestines were able to slowly absorb the meds better through the night....so I've been doing my natual thyroid for at night for a week now (just to see) and I am feeling even better! I know some people may not be able to sleep because of the dose of T3, but I am not having any problems sleeping and when I wake up in the morning, my brain feels so clear! I just thought I'd share this.http://thyroid.about.com/od/thyroiddrugstreatments/a/bedtime.htm Also- feeling better about my natual thyroid after reading these articleshttp://www.life-enhancement.com/article_template.asp?id=907 http://jdach1.typepad.com/natural_thyroid/2011/02/better-than-synthetic-jeffrey-dach.html Here is some from the one above: Synthroid was marketed in 1955, but not FDA approved until July 24. 2002 because of a "history of potency failures...indicates that Synthroid has not been reliably potent and stable."-- United States Food and Drug Administration Letter to Synthroid Manufacturer, Knoll Pharmaceuticals, April 26, 2001 (link )In reality, many patients don't start to feel normal again until they switch from synthetic to NDT (Thyroid USP). Natural Desiccated Thyroid hormone replacement has been used since the late 1800s, and it is one of the safest drugs available. It contains a full spectrum of thyroid hormones, T4 and T3 and also T2 and T1 as well. And watching this video Again, thank you!!! First time since 2003 I have had to do anything like this, and I'm shocked. Whatever is going on with natural thyroid products out there ( http://www.consumeraffairs.com/rx/armour.html ), you'll still have to take your hatred elsewhere. Messages will be posted when/ if I feel like it, until further notice. On top of it, you might have missed in the middle of my and other mature members' posts who actually try to help others here that I'm fighting early stage Lyme. 4th week of antibiotics and elbow still seems strangely arthritic. If you think Hashimotos is embroiled with fear, confusion and politics on the Internet, you really ought to try Lyme Disease. In short, I need a social media vacation. Really saddened by the lack of gratitude for my 8 years of moderating - keeping spammers out, answering newcomers when no one else would, and getting people to both participate and behave. Not ONCE have I asked for a single dime or aspired to sell books or consultations for my volunteer time here. Nothing against other popular thyroid moderators, but see if they can say the same.
