Guest guest
Hi Stacey- It's nice seeing that life is giving you some rest and time for you. Best wishes to you and Tom- Sandie Des Moines, IA dad, Merle, passed away from LBD 9-20-02, age 65 mum, (MIL) Jo, passed away from LBD 4-29-07, age 78 -- newbee Hey Ya'll, Thanks for letting me join your group. Let me tell you about me and my husband. I'm Stacey and 44 years old. My husband of 19 years Tom just turned 59 on Dec.3rd. We live in metro ATL.GA. Tom was diagnosed with DLB a little over a year ago. We have no " human " children, We have 1 cocker and 1 cat. I am no longer working as I have to take care of Tom. I had a job that I LOVED.( I managed a scrapbook store.) Tom was a electrician. The closest family is Tom's brother and he's 2 hours away.I'm from Niles MI. and my family is up there. So, everyone tells me I need a support group but what they don't understand is that I have no one to stay with Tom while I'm at the meetings. So I found this group. I have found Tom an adult day care that we both really love. But funds only allow 2x a month. Anyone in Atl. that needs a place like this let me know and I well get you hooked up with Miss. . She is awesome. Well I just wanted to introduce myself and tell you our story. Thanks for listening. Stacey Some times the good you do does you no good. --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now.
