Guest guest
While on the topic of drug books, I have the QLDB, but is there one that lists all the drugs alphabetically whether it be generic or brand. I am a newbie and have only been working for two weeks, but I have already found that every drug I look up, I have to do twice, because once I find it, it says see xxxx on page whatever. This is very time consuming. Thanks Terry
Guest guest
Does anybody else use this instead of QuickLook? Do you know about the 'new' xref book--do you have it? I liked this book in part because it had 'everything' in it...and looking through my just-arrived 2000 book, I see OTCs still in there, but note that the 'street' drugs are removed--is anything else (other than xref stuff) in this book--do I need it? Thanks. -lava
Guest guest
The Saunders (or there's a little book called the Pocket Pharmacopia as well...I use my Saunders more as I prefer the format, but my mother (also an MT) loves the PP (and it's under $10). -lava At 12:15 PM 1/27/00 EST, you wrote: >While on the topic of drug books, I have the QLDB, but is there one that >lists all the drugs alphabetically whether it be generic or brand. Guest guest
Actually the only ones you have to look up twice is when you are first looking up the proprietary drug name which will reference the generic drug page #. This might take a couple seconds longer I agree, but it does teach you the generic and proprietary names of drugs even if by force. <g> The thing I love the QLDB for is the reference by indications in the back and the sound alike section in the back.
