Why am I even trying Estradiol/Progesterone?

I'm posting again about E/P, a recap: Based on these initial results from a

saliva test...

Estradiol 1.3 1.3-3.3

Progesterone 56 75-270

Testosterone 17 16-55

....4 weeks ago I put on the Climara patch .0375 to see if it may help my

symptoms. The only difference I noticed was swollen breasts and a slight

increase in weight. Then, on the advice of a dr I had seen in person and

several online advocates, I started using the prescribed Progesterone cream at

..5 ml a night last week. Oh the joy, more swollen, painful breasts and weight

gain.

I am so perplexed. Does it just take time for a body to adjust to the hormones?

Do I need to give it another few months? I honestly don't feel like I have a few

more months to give. What would YOU do if you had negative reactions right

away? For as many suggestions I've had to ONLY use Estradiol, I've had twice as

many that say that Progesterone is absolutely needed.

To top it all off, I've been told I was Hypo (not by any dr. in real life, of

course, only the board advocates--surprise) based on the below tests and have

got to wonder if I should be focusing all my efforts on thyroid and adrenals

instead of the sex hormones.

Thyroid Blood Lab results:

TPAntibodies < 10 <35

T4 Free 1.1 0.8 - 1.8

T3 Free 271 230 - 420

TSH 1.43 0.4 - 4.50

Please tell me there is hope.
