Guest guest
Hi - I've done the Circuit 2 (didn't get the Circuit 1 as it was only 35 minutes). It's a good one, but no where near as tough as Get Ripped Advanced 1 or 2. I do it when I'm feeling tired, but still want a good work out. I hear the Extreme is good, but I'm waiting for my step before I get that. I'm excited about the boot camp - even if it's only 30 minutes - sometimes that's all I have. " Wistoski " <wistoskis001@haw aii.rr.com> To tae-bo_on 12/20/2004 10:57 cc AM Subject hello all Please respond to tae-bo_on@yahoogr oups.com Welcome Doni! I am also originally from a little town in Indiana. I left home in 1992. I love going home to visit and miss my family alot. I live in Hawaii now since my husband is in the army stationed here. - Hey, I did find the Get ripped advanced 1 at ROSS for $1.00. AWESOME! Thanks for offering to send my one! Of course I am doing it later today. It is my favorite. I also found the whole series of get ripped there for 9.99. So I bought it for my friend for X-mas. She wants to do Aerobics at a gym, and I refuse to pay for a gym membership when Taebo is so much funner and I can do it on my time schedule. And we can use the weights on the gym on post for free. They just don't offer the aerobics classes for free. I hope she likes it. She has tried a few of my basics tapes. Has anyone tried the circuit ones and extreme? I do have the new Capture the power series. DId not care for those! As Deb has said: " Fitness is a journey and it begins with the first step. Guest guest
I am glad you found them, I am still waiting for my DVD...but with DeepDiscount that could be until next year (ha ha just a week away). I got the VHS at Ross too originally, I thought they were fun! I didn't realize there are nearly 80 Tae Bo workouts now! I did like the Capture the Power series, but not as much as the Live ones (not the box set but the ones that came every month) as far as intensity. However, I think they (the new Goodtimes ones) are way more " balanced " or choreographed...and that's nice and all; but, I feel for me part of Tae Bo's charm now is that it was like being in a live class. It is hard to teach, count, and talk at the same time live! So I guess I just view them as the " made for TV " Tae Bos and the other the " real deal " although I know Gymmie would say a class is 20 times harder and I'm sure they are, I am not that brave...yet! Guest guest
I did not care for the capture the power as much mainly because of the format. I really like the live series and old style that has more of a fun attitude and not calling out numbers etc. Only my personal preference. I sweat more in the live series as well. I did like one in the series but still prefer to do my old tapes. I am sure there are many out there who like the new format!!!! I have not tried the bootcamp or extreme yet, but I am sure I will buy them one day too! > > this is the one's i just got the capture the power, why did you not like it? > doni
