Guest guest Posted December 14, 2007 Report Share Posted December 14, 2007 My father (93 years young) takes Periactin ( generic is Cyproheptadine ) 4 mg a half hour before each meal. It is technically an allergy medication but a GREAT APPETITE STIMULANT!!! It really has worked for him. Took about 3-5 days before I saw and increase in appetite.
