Hi Connie,

Your post sound familiar, I seem to many of your same problems although after

13 months they seem further apart. Most days I feel great - I have started

vomiting a lot and seem to be constipated all of the time, going to have one

of those lovely colon things done the 27th, at least she is going to put me

out- I had one about 15 yrs ago and swore NEVER again! I have lost very

slowly too and have been at a stand still for the past 2 months or so which

is really depressing! I am very grateful for the pounds I have lost it is

wonderful to be able to do things I haven't done in years. I just keep

telling myself things are going to get better, spring is soon going to be

here and I'll be outside getting a lot more exercise!

Much Love,

Dear Connie,

Mom says that we are going through steps when we go through a period of

slow weight loss.. Try to remember, this is just a step.

You have done awesome with weight loss... I am sure if you increase your

protein and water, your weight loss will pick up again.

I truly understand what you mean about leaving the support and

encouragement of Mom, Dad,and the wonderful people you meet through them. It

is hard to leave, but yet again, you miss your family, friends and your

natural environment.

I sure hope we can see each other again one day. I really did enjoy the

short time we had together... I had another milestone.. my aunt went and

bought me a straight skirt the other day at Dillard/s....size Misses 18..

This is exciting to me since I have been in the largest plus size available

for soo long..

I started at 236 before this last surgery according to Dr Oh/s scales and am

now at 218 as of Feb 28...

Take care

Hugs,

Hi ;

Great weight loss. I longed to be an 18 for years and said I would be

so satisfied to be there. I passed that by and am now a 14.

Thank God for WLS.

Hey there, Connie -- I know what you mean about all the new names! I

joined here about 13 mo ago and there were not quite 800 members.

Wonderful expansion since then, yet so hard to feel very connected if

your particiaption is as sporadic as mine has and will continue to be.

I've been on a plateau for about 7 wks. I've been grazing too much,

methinks... well, any grazing is too much grazing so let me put it

another way -- I've been grazing and I'm sure that throws a lot of

stuff off track. I've been steadily improving, though, so I'm sure

the plateau will break soon.

Connie, glad you're back --- and I'm praying for your life to smooth

out some. Hope the letdown you're feeling soon goes away. Lots here

to surround and support you no matter what!

CONNIE--Wonderful to have you back, hon! Sorry we didn't get a chance

to see you when you were staying with , but I think we hadn't

quite gotten up here to Seattle yet... I know you'll get back on

track (help the new gals get on track, too!) Write in lots; we need

Dear ,

Sounds like fun to me. And, of course, we would have to get with

little sis Terry.

I'm going to be so mad at Mom if I end up getting a cat. I don't

want a cat. Our dog doesn't want a cat. We were at Petsmart the

other day and I just happened to go look at the homeless cats that

were there. They acted too much like real cats. You know, not like

Priscilla and JJ. I can't believe I even looked at them.

I don't know, I think you two are pretty equal in the description

Bigger than a beanie baby by just a little, more of a " plush " . And already been

around the block a few times, if you know what I mean.

His first mama was here yesterday and said when she found him, he was smaller

than this baby. It was originally his " mama " .

I know I was " medicated " some of the time I was there but I have

absolutely no recollection of that.

So far I've not cared what age I am. Maybe when I hit 50 I will. I
